Cafe 3858

The Cafe was established 6 years ago and reinvented 3 years ago when Jamie Riley and Zac Stamos came from Melbourne and purchased their first business venture.

Jamie who was originally a Heyfield boy has an extensive hospitality background, and Zac dabbled in hospitality but has great customer service knowledge behind him. Eager to make their own stamp on the business, some minor interior changes were made to compliment the already homely feel to the cafe. Antique as well as some retro furniture give the place a unique look.

Twelve months later Jamie and Zac took over the building next door, to make the cafe seat approximately 70 people and an ideal function area, and also a courtyard with seating capacity for about another forty people.

The food ranges from the old classics to some varied modern styles, all being homemade on the premises including cakes, slices, relishes and dressings.

The cafe has won several awards including Best Cafe twice and Best Coffee in the wellington people choice awards and numerous mentions in the Herald Sun and the Age.

Cafe 3858 can cater for functions from finger food to sit down menus.

Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday 9.00am till 4.00pm, Saturdays and Sundays 9.00am till 3.00pm and open for dinners on request.

So next time you're in town or passing through please call in and see Jamie, Zac and their friendly staff as they strive to provide great customer service with fantastic coffee and food.
