Paradise Valley Campground
Paradise Valley is set in picturesque, hilly country on the Macalister River 20 kilometres North of Heyfield, the Gateway to the Alpine National Park.
Paradise Valley is ideal for tent or caravan camping and amenities include toilets, showers, baby bath, laundry, clothesline, barbeques and some powered sites. Self contained cabins to accommodate up to four people are also available.
Gippsland's Macalister River flows through Paradise Valley providing opportunities for swimming, canoeing, fishing and other fun in the water. You may catch a glimpse of a platypus playing in the river or a goanna making it's way down the opposite bank for a drink. Kangaroos, possums, emus, water dragons and wombats all live in Paradise Valley and the bird life is abundant. The valley echoes with the friendly call of the currawong, the laughter of kookaburras and blue wrens and cheeky willie wagtails will visit your riverside camp.
What better way to relax and enjoy just a few days or a few weeks in natural surroundings, breathing the fresh country air, in beautiful Paradise Valley.
